1. Cream the butter and sugar. 2. Stir in egg yolks and whole egg; blend. 3. In a separate bowl, sift all dry ingredients except the confectioners' sugar; add to creamed mixture, alternating with buttermilk. 4. Stir to mix all ingredients. 5. Cook by dropping spoonsfuls of dough into 375 degree F deep fat. 6. Fry a few at a time, to keep fat temperature constant. 7. Turn to brown on all sides. 8.
