1. Pre-heat oven to 200 degrees (fan oven). 2. pplace dates, mango, pineapple, orange rind and juice and vanilla in a pan. 3. cook for 5 minutes until tender. 4. strain the fruit, reserving the juices. 5. place fruit and kiwi fruit in a large ovenproof dish. 6. return the reserved juices to the pan. 7. simmer for 5 minutes until reduced by half. 8. pour over the fruit. 9. mix oats, almonds, flour and butter. 10. scatter over the fruit. 11. bake for 10-15 minutes until golden. 12. serve warm with custard. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
