1. Saute onion in butter or oil, until translucent. 2. Add chopped turnips, apples and thyme. 3. Saute for 10 minutes, stirring frequently. 4. Add fruit juice and cook on low heat until turnips are tender. 5. In a blender, food processor, or using a stick blender, puree until thick and smooth. Add black pepper to taste. 6.
