Tuscan Pasta Sauce


1. In a skillet, heat the oil over medium heat.

2. Cook the onion and shallot until soft and translucent, about 7 minutes.

3. Add the garlic and continue cooking for 1 additional minute.

4. Add the wine and simmer until reduced by half, about 4 minutes.

5. Add the tomatoes and simmer for 20 minutes.

6. Add the cream, olives and capers and simmer for about 7 minutes.

7. Adjust seasoning to taste.

8. Serve over your favourite pasta!
