1. Cream together the butter, powdered sugar and vanilla. Add the flour and salt gradually to creamed mixture. Add the chopped nuts making sure everything is mixed throughly. 2. Shape into 2 - 1 1/4 inch in diameter rolls. Wrap in wax paper and place in fridge for several hours. 3. Cut into 1/4 inch slices, place on ungreased baking sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes or until slightly browned. 4.
