1. In a medium saucepan, heat oil. Add garlic and sage and cook until garlic softens, about 30 seconds. 2. Add drained chopped tomatoes and reserved tomato juice. Cover over medium heat for 5 minutes. 3. Add beans to saucepan. Season to taste with salt and pepper. 4. Simmer, uncovered, over low heat, stirring occasionally, until beans are hot, about 5 minutes. 5.
