Zesty Italian Peasant Bread Appetizer


1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

2. Place bread shell on lightly greased baking sheet.

3. Mix together oil, garlic and pepper.

4. Brush over bread shell.

5. Sprinkle with tomato, cheese and snipped fresh or crushed dried herb.

6. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes or till warm and cheese softens "slightly".

7. Cut bread into 12 wedges.

8. If desired garnish with fresh herb sprigs.

9. Serve hot.
