#19 ~ 2 : Korean home meal, Gonduere rice and veggie dishes Honeykki

Today I made Korean home meals, gonduere rice and 2 veggie dishes,
mu-namul(stir-fried radish) and aehobak-bokkeum(stir-fried zucchini).
In this video, I made these menu we often eat in Korean homes.
They look very healthy, dont they?

Ah! And then, I used perilla oil instead of sesame oil in this video.
In Korea, perilla oil is used to toss namul(veggies) or in cooking.
If you cant find perilla oil or dont like it, you can replace it with sesame oil.

* : Gonduere bap(Seasoned thistle with rice)

1. Soak the dried gonduere in cold water for at least 2 hours and boil until it is soft.

2. Rinse in cold water and wring out moisture.

3. Cut into bite size and season with soy sauce for soup and perilla oil(or sesame oil).

4. In the pot, add soaked rice and gonduere and pour in the water, a little bit less than the amount of rice.

5. Bring to boil on high heat and simmer for 15min on low.

6. When the rice is cooked, turn off the heat and keep the lid closed for 15min


* : Yangnyeom ganjang (Chives spicy soy sauce)
3Tbs, 3Tbs, 1, 1, 1 .
Add and mix chopped chives, 3Tbs soy sauce, 3Tbs water, 1Tbs sesame oil, 1tsp red pepper powder, 1tsp sesame seeds.

You can adjust the amount of water to taste.


* : Mu-namul (stir-fried radish)
1. .
1. Shred the radish.

2. .
2. In a pan, add shredded radish and perilla oil and stir-fry.

3. Add anchovy-based broth(or water), chopped garlic and cover with lid.

4. When radish is soft, season with soy sauce and salt to taste.

5. Finish off with sesame seeds.


* : Aehobak-bokkeum (stir-fried zucchini)
1. , .
1. Slice and quarter Korean zucchini (aehobak) and chop the green onion.

2. , , .
2. Coat the pan with oil, add and fry zucchini, green onion and chopped garlic.

3. ( ), , .
3. Season with saeu-jeot(salted shrimp) and red pepper powder. And then, finish off with sesame seeds.


* : Gyeran-guk (Korean egg soup)
1. .
1. Chop the green onion.

2. In a pot, add and boil the water and dashi pack for 15min.

3. Crack the eggs into a cup and roughly mix.

4. When broth is done, remove the dashi pack and season with soy sauce. And then, Add green onion and egg and simmer. Done!
