See what happens when traditional Indian Butter chicken gets a makeover into an Italian Lasagne with Actor Mahesh Thakur. It has to be loaded with lots of drama!Butter Chicken LasagneIngredients: 6 sheets of “no cook” lasagne1 cup Butter ChickenFor the Cheese sauce25g butter25g flour300ml milkPinch of ground nutmeg60g cheddar grated cheese30g grated parmesan cheese1 tsp mixed herbs1 tsp Olive oilSalt & pepper to tasteMethod for Butter Chicken Lasagne:1. Cheese Sauce: Melt the butter in a saucepan then add olive oil. Add the flour. Mix in briskly until raw smell of the flour disappears. Add a third of the milk, whisking to prevent any lumps forming. Add the rest of the milk .little by little, whisking as you go. Season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Let the sauce to cook for a minute. Add the Cheddar cheese. Stir well and keep aside.2. Assembling or layering the lasagne: Evenly spread half of the Butter Chicken into the bottom of the baking dish and place lasagne sheets on top. Then pour the cheese sauce, spreading evenly with help of a spatula. Spoon the remaining butter chicken on top. Add the final layer of lasagne sheets and then use the spatula to pour over the remaining cheese sauce. Add the grated cheese.3.
