Filling the hand salad is also an art!

The reason we use dry ingredients like lettuces, cabbage, ribboned carrot, radish, microgreens, red onion etc is because we wrap these for a few days in advance for easy grab lunches on the go or for travel and we want to minimize soggy wraps.

We dont use oily mayo or processed spreads (that are usually used on classic wheat or corn wraps) which can be helpful by repelling water from more watery fillings like tomatoes, cucumbers, sauerkraut and pickles so we use a cashew cream cheese spread (recipes in Hand Salads ebook too - link in bio) to help with that aspect (thick enough but oil free!) if we are eating them right away, we put anything in them but if we are wrapping for multiple days, we are conscious of which fillings we add so they stay in tact.

Then we sauce it up as we eat them. We drizzle a delicious sauce onto each bite and enjoy the flavor explosion of our easy to grab lunch or dinner. Its a salad you eat with your hands!

Our raw wraps are vegan, gluten free, oil free, low fat, high fiber, high variety, gut healthy, delicious, easy to make, fun and great for travel, work, school or just because! You can find 34 wrap recipes (themed wrap recipes with matching fillings, sauces and toppings!) in my NEW ebook called HAND SALADS - the link to my ebooks is in my bio!
