Boil 1 cup water in non-stick pan, add asafoetida, cumin seeds, salt, Tata Sampann Turmeric Powder and mix well.2. Add rice flour and mix till well combined. Transfer in a parat and allow to cool slightly.3. Finely chop onion and chop coriander sprigs and transfer into the same parat.4. Add carrot, coconut, green chillies and knead the mixture into a soft dough. Drizzle oil and mix well.5. Heat a non-stick tawa.6. To make the akki roti, take a large plastic sheet on a worktop and take a portion of the prepared dough and shape it into a ball and slightly flatten it.7. Place the dough on one side of the plastic sheet and cover with the other side. Gently press to shape the dough into a disc.8. Transfer the disc on the hot tawa and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, flip and apply ghee on both sides and cook till golden brown and crisp.9.
