So make this delightful and easy recipe when you unexpectedly have guests over.ALOO HALWAIngredients ¼ cup ghee2 tbsps raisins (kishmish)2 tbsps cashew nuts, halved8-10 almonds, slivered3 large potatoes, boiled, peeled and mashed½ cup grated mawa/khoya½ cup sugar¼ cup milk½ tsp green cardamom powderA large pinch of saffron + for garnishChopped pistachios for garnishMethod 1. Heat ghee in a non-stick kadai, add raisins and cashew nuts and roast till golden brown. Add almonds and sauté for a minute.2. Add potatoes and mix and sauté for 2-3 minutes. Add mawa, sugar, milk and green cardamom powder and mix and sauté for 4-5 minutes.3. Add saffron and mix, cook for 1-2 minutes. Take the pan off the heat and transfer into serving bowls. 4.
