ALOO PRAWN MASALAIngredients16-20 medium prawns, shelled and deveined½ tsp turmeric powderSalt to taste1 tbsp oil 1 tbsp chopped garlic2 medium onions, chopped3 small potatoes, cut into 1 cm cubes1 medium tomato, chopped2-3 green chillies, chopped½ tbsps red chilli powder1 tsp coriander powder 2 tsps cumin powder5-6 kokum petalsChopped fresh coriander as requiredMethod1. In a bowl, add prawns, salt, ¼ tsp turmeric powder and mix well. Marinate and set aside for 20-30 minutes.2. Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add garlic, sauté. Add onion and cook till golden brown in colour.3. Add the potatoes and sauté for a minute. Add the tomatoes, green chillies, salt and cook till pulpy.4. Add the red chilli powder, cumin powder, coriander powder and the remaining turmeric powder. Add kokum and mix well. Add ½ cup of water and cook till the potatoes are almost done.5. Add the marinated prawns, sauté for a minute. Add the coriander leaves and cook for 4-5 minutes.6.
