Amazing Home Cooked Chinese Food-How to Braise Crucian Carp& How to Make Crucian Carp Soup? | China Food Nomad

Not like western countries, people in China usually like fish braised or cooked to make soup. In this video, you will see how my favorite fish, crucian carp braised and made into fish soup.

When you are cooking Chinese food, ginger, garlic and green onion are very common ingredients for most of the dishes.

You don't see garlic in this video though, it is better to put it in. Also to make them taste a little better, you also could put 1 or 2 table spoon sugar in it when you are cooking, but if someone you served got diabetes, sugar is not a good choice.

When you are cooking the fish, please turn it over or stir slowly, as it is very easy to break the whole fish, then it won't have a good look.

Also, you must know that, this kind of fish has lots of bones; you need to be prepared to pick out the bones when you are having them. Picking out so many bones is a troublesome thing, but crucian carp is reallyyyyyy tasty!!!!!!!!!!!!
