Our favourite recipe with a special addition of anardana masala is flavourful and takes less than 30 minutes to prepare.

ANARDANA PANEER TIKKA

Ingredients

300 grams cottage cheese (paneer), cut into 1 inch cubes
1½ tbsps dried pomegranate seeds (anardana) powder
3 tbsps fresh cream
3 tbsps hung yogurt
2 tsps ginger-garlic paste
1 tsp lemon juice
1 tsp + 1½ tbsps oil
Salt to taste
2 tsps Kashmiri red chilli powder
A pinch of turmeric powder
½ tbsp Tata Sampann Paneer Masala
1 small yellow capsicum, diced into 1 inch pieces
1 small green capsicum, diced into 1 inch pieces
1 large tomato, diced into 1 inch pieces
Green chutney to serve
Onion rings to serve
Lemon wedges to serve

Method

1. In a large bowl, add fresh cream, yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, lemon juice and mix well. Add 1 tsp oil and mix well.
2. Add salt, Kashmiri red chilli powder, turmeric powder, Tata Sampann Paneer Masala, anardana powder and mix well.
3. Add paneer cubes, yellow capsicum, green capsicum, tomato and gently mix well. Marinate for 10-15 minutes.
4. Heat a non-stick grill pan, drizzle remaining oil and place the prepared paneer pieces on it. Cook till golden brown on both sides. Take them off the heat.
5. Place the vegetables on the same pan and cook till grill marks appear on both sides.
6. For serving, insert each piece paneer, coloured capsicums, and tomatoes alternatively on a tooth pick.
7. Place them on a serving plate and serve hot with green chutney, onion rings, and lemon wedges.
