Mashed boiled arbis mixed with spices to make these delicious shallow fried tikkis.ARBI TIKKIIngredients12-14 colocasia (arbi), boiled and peeled 1 medium onion, finely chopped1 teaspoon finely chopped ginger1-2 green chillies, finely choppedA few fresh coriander sprigsSalt to taste 1 teaspoon cumin (jeera) powder1 teaspoon red chilli powder1½ teaspoons garam masala powder 1 teaspoon chaat masala ½ teaspoon carom seeds (ajwain)2-3 tablespoons cornflourOil for shallow-frying Method1. Mash colocasia in a bowl. Add onion, ginger, green chillies, coriander sprigs, salt, cumin powder, chilli powder, garam masala powder, chaat masala, carom seeds and cornflour and mix well. 2. Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape into tikkis. 3. Heat some oil on a non-stick tawa. Place tikkis on it and shallow-fry till golden brown from both the sides. 4.
