Atta Ladoo | Diwali Mithai | Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi | chefharpalsingh

These atte ka ladoo make for a good sweet snack for kids as well as for the whole family. You can even make these during festive occasions and the recipe can be doubled or tripled too. Just that more time and handwork will be required while roasting the whole wheat flour.

Atta ladoo
Ingredients quantity
Wheat flour 1cup
Khus khus 2tbsp
Saunf 1tsp
Black pepper 4-5 no.
Assorted nuts 2tbsp
Ghee 2tbsp + 3-4tbsp + 2-3tbsp
Edible gond 1tbsp
Raisins 1tbsp
Kajur 1cup
Dry ginger powder ½ tsp


Method:-
In pan dry roast the khus khus and remove it in a plate.
Now in pan add saunf, black pepper and roast it properly.
Now add assorted nuts and roast it and keep aside.
Now add ghee in pan and let it melt, now fry the edible Gond in it, once done keep aside.
Now add ghee in pan, and whole wheat flour and roast it properly till brown in color.
Now remove it in a plate and keep aside.
Now in same pan dry roast the raisins.
Now in mixing jar add edible Gond, saunf and black pepper mixture and grind it in powder form.
Now add the grinded powder in the roasted Atta.
Now take the kajur and roasted raisins and crush them in the mortar and pestle.
Now add all the ingredients in the roasted flour, add nuts, dry ginger powder and melt the ghee in a pan.
Now mix all the ingredients properly with the help of your hands and add ghee to bind all together.
Now once it is cool down, bind it in round shape one by one.
Roll the ladoos in the roasted khus khus and serve them.
