Recipe:
Red Pound Cake for :etters
 3 ¼ cups flour
 ¾ teaspoon salt
 2 cups butter, room temperature
 3 ¼ cup sugar
 6 eggs
 6 egg yolks
 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
 1 teaspoon almond extract
 1 ½ tablespoons red food color

Pound Cake for cubes (makes 2 cubes, repeat as many times as needed)
 1 ½ cups + 2 tablespoons of flour
 ¼ teaspoon salt
 1 cup butter, room temperature
 1 ½ cups + 2 tablespoons sugar
 3 eggs
 3 egg yolks
 ½ tablespoon vanilla extract
 ½ teaspoon almond extract

Decoration
 1 cup American buttercream
 White and light blue fondant
 Shortening
 Flour
 Tylose Powder as needed to help dry fondant quickly

Equipment
 6 4”x 4” square pans
 One 9” x 13” pan
 Piping bags
 Cake boards cut to 2 ¾” squares
 Rolling pin
 Exacto Knife
 Blue Ribbon
 Non-toxic Glue Stick
 Letter cookie cutters
 Offset spatula
 Stand Mixer
 Small paintbrush
 Template that spells “BABY #2”
