INGREDIENTS
1. Baby Potatoes - 1/2 Kg
2. Bengal Gram - 2 Tablespoons
3. Coriander Seeds - 2 Teaspoons
4. Cumin Seeds - 1 Teaspoon
5. Garlic Cloves - 6
6. Turmeric Powder - 1/2 Teaspoon
7. Dried Chillies - 7-8
8. Coconut Powder - 2 Tablespoons
9. Salt - 1 1/2 Teaspoon
10. Onions - 2
11. Green Chillies - 2
12. Curry Leaves - 1/2 Cup

Boil baby potatoes in water mixed with salt for 2-3 whistles and peel them. Prepare masala now. Heat pan and add 2 tablespoons bengal gram. Fry till it gives out a nice aroma. Add 2 teaspoons coriander seeds and mix. Fry for a couple of minutes and add 1 teaspoon cumin seeds. Add 7-8 dried chillies. Add 2 tablespoons coconut powder and mix. Cut off the stove. Let it cool down and add this to a mixie jar. Add 6-7 garlic cloves and grind it into a soft paste. Prepare tempering now. Heat 2 tablespoons oil in a pan. Add 1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds, 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds and mix. Add chopped onions and fry. Fry for 5 minutes and add chopped green chillies, curry leaves. As onions turn transparent, add 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder and mix. Add boiled peeled potatoes and mix. Close lid and cook for 5 minutes. Add prepared masala powder and mix. Add 1 1/2 teaspoon salt or salt to taste and mix. Close lid. Stir in between and cook for 10 minutes. Sprinkle coriander leaves and cut off the stove. Serve hot.
