Baked Chakli | Diwali Special | Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana

A healthy chakli in baked avatar so that you can munch more than one.

BAKED CHAKLI

Ingredients

1 cup soya flour
½ cup split skinless black gram (dhuli urad dal) flour
⅛ cup butter
1 teaspoon red chilli powder
½ teaspoon roasted cumin powder
Salt to taste

Method

1. Preheat the oven to 180˚C.
2. Take soya flour, black gram flour, butter, red chilli powder, roasted cumin powder and salt in a bowl. Mix well.
3. Add sufficient water and knead to soft dough.
4. Put sufficient dough into a chakli press fitted with a chakli attachment.
5. Brush oil on a baking tray and press out chaklis onto it. Bake for 12-15 minutes in a preheated oven.
6. Remove and set aside to cool down.
7. Serve.
