A healthy take on the classic namak pare so that you can munch on without worries.BAKED NAMAK PAREIngredients2 tbsps oil + for greasing1½ cups refined flour½ cup whole wheat flourSalt to taste½ tsp carom seedsMethod1. Preheat the oven at 180˚C.2. Heat oil in a non-stick pan.3. Take refined flour, whole wheat flour, salt and carom seeds in a bowl. Add the hot oil and sufficient water. Knead to stiff dough.4. Divide the dough into medium sized equal portions. Grease worktop with oil, place a medium portion of dough and roll into thin sheet. Cut the sheet into long strips vertically. Further make horizontal cuts on the sheet to make small squares. 5. Transfer the small squares on the baking tray. Bake for 12-15 minutes in a preheated oven. Allow to cool down.6.
