Wholesome breakfast recipe with the goodness of fresh fruits and oats.BAKED OATS AND FRUITSIngredients2 cups rolled oats 2 medium bananas ½ cup walnut kernels1 tsp baking powder¼ tsp cinnamon powder½ cup sugar2 eggs1 cup milk¼ cup maple syrup1 tsp vanilla essence2 tbsps melted butter4 tbsps melted strawberry jam¼ cup raisinsMethod1. Preheat oven to 180º C.2. Put oats, walnut kernels, baking powder, cinnamon powder and sugar into a bowl and mix well.3. Break eggs into another bowl and beat with an electric beater. Add milk and maple syrup and continue to beat. Add vanilla essence and butter and beat again.4. Slice bananas. Take a glass baking dish, place sliced bananas in a layer and sprinkle raisins over them. 5. Over that place oats mixture in a layer and pour the egg-milk mixture. Drizzle strawberry jam on top.6. Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 40-45 minutes. Remove the dish from the oven.7. Scoop out ladleful of baked oats and fruits onto serving plates and serve immediately.
