You can have amazing cookies in the comfort of your home in less time than it would take to drive to a bakery!__________ CLICK FOR RECIPE ___________PRINTABLE RECIPE: https://thestayathomechef.com/bakery-style-cookies/ IngredientsBasic Bakery Style Cookie Dough 1 cup unsalted butter, softened to room temperature 3/4 cup brown sugar 1/2 cup granulated sugar 2 large eggs 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1 cup cake flour 1 3/4 cup all-purpose flour 1 teaspoon baking powder 1 teaspoon baking soda 1/2 teaspoon saltChocolate Chip Walnut Add-ins 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips 1 cup chopped walnutsCowboy Cookies Add-ins 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips 1 cup quick oats 3/4 cup chopped pecans 3/4 cup unsweetened coconut flakesOatmeal Raisin Add-ins 1 1/2 cups quick oats 2 cups raisinsDark Chocolate Chocolate Chunk Add-ins 1/2 cup cocoa powder* (see recipe notes) 2 cups dark chocolate chunks , or dark chocolate chipsDark Chocolate Peanut Butter Chip Add-ins 1/2 cup cocoa powder* (see recipe notes) 2 cups peanut butter chipsInstructions1 Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.2 In the bowl of a stand mixer, add butter, brown sugar, and sugar and mix on low using the paddle attachment. Increase to medium and mix until smooth, about 1 minute.3 Add in the eggs and vanilla extract and beat until just combined, about 30 seconds.4 Add in cake flour, all purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Mix until just combined.5 Pour in desired add-ins and use a large spoon or rubber spatula to fold in the chocolate chips by hand.6 Divide the dough into 8 to 10 equal pieces. Use hands to roll into large balls. Place onto prepared baking sheets, 4 per pan.7 Bake in the 400 degree oven for 11-14 minutes, until tops are golden brown.7 Let cool on pan 15 minutes before serving warm, or transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.Recipe Notes:*For a chocolate cookie dough base reduce flour to 1 1/2 cups and add in 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder.
