How to Cook Bananas in 3 Ways. This video will show you how I cook banana fritters (maruya), banana croquette (cheesy banana ball), and banana muffins.

Banana Muffin

Ingredients:
3 pieces banana, ripe
1 piece egg, beaten
10 tablespoons butter, melted
Dry ingredients:
1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
¾ cup sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon salt

Procedure:
Pre-heat oven to 350F
Sift dry ingredients in a bowl. Mix well. Set aside.
Mash bananas in a big bowl, add egg and butter. Mix well.
Gradually add dry ingredients while mixing. Continue mixing until all ingredients are well distributed.
Arrange paper cups on a cupcake mold. Scoop the banana mixture in each cup. Bake for 25 minutes or use the toothpick test. Note: It is best to check starting on the 20th minute.
Remove from the oven and let it cool down. Serve!

Maruya (Banana Fritter)

Ingredients:
3 pieces saba banana
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 piece egg, beaten
1/2 cup fresh milk
1/2 cup cooking oil
Dry ingredients:
10 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
4 tablespoons sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt

Procedure:
Boil bananas for 12 to 15 minutes or until soft. Set aside.
Sift dry ingredients in a bowl. Mix well. Set aside.
Mash bananas in a big bowl, add egg, vanilla extract, and milk. Mix well.
Gradually add dry ingredients while mixing. Continue mixing until all ingredients are well distributed.
Heat oil in a pan. Sccp 1/2 cup of banana mixture. Fry until the color turns light to medium brown. Flip the banana fritter. Cook the opposite side for the same duration. Remove from the pan and let it cool down.
Dredge both sides of the fritter in sugar. Serve!

Cheesy Banana Balls

Ingredients:
3 pieces saba banana
3 ounces cheese, cubed
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 piece egg, beaten
Dry ingredients:
1 tablespoon sugar
4 tablespoons all-purpose flour
Breading ingredients:
3 tabelspoons all-purpose flour
1 piece egg, beaten
1/2 cup Panko breadcrumbs
1 1/2 cups cooking oil

Procedure:
Boil bananas for 12 to 15 minutes or until soft. Set aside.
Sift dry ingredients in a bowl. Mix well. Set aside.
Mash bananas in a big bowl, add egg and vanilla extract. Mix well.
Gradually add dry ingredients while mixing. Continue mixing until all ingredients are well distributed.
Scoop around 2 tablespoons of banana mixture and put a piece of cheese inside. Mold into a ball shaped figure.
Heat oil in a cooking pot.
Prepare the breading ingredients. Dredge banana balls in flour, dip in egg, and roll over breadcrumbs until completely coated.
Deep fry for 4 to 5 minutes in medium heat or until breading turns golden brown in color.
Remove from the pot and let it cool down. Serve!
