A recipe with a huge fan following, barbeque chicken wings are loaded with flavour. Being one of the most simplest chicken recipes, yet enjoyed by all age groups, this mouthwatering and tangy recipe will leave you wanting for more!

BARBEQUE CHICKEN WINGS

Ingredients

8-12 chicken wings
Salt to taste
Crushed black peppercorns to taste
1 tablespoon refined flour (maida)
1½ tablespoons cornflour
1 tablespoon oil + for deep-frying
1 tablespoon chopped garlic
1½ tablespoons red chilli sauce
1 tablespoon tomato ketchup
A pinch sugar
1 teaspoon red chilli flakes
Chopped fresh coriander leaves for garnishing

Method

1. Put chicken wings in a bowl. Add salt, crushed peppercorns, refined flour and cornflour, mix well and set aside to marinate.
2. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Deep-fry chicken wings till golden brown. Drain on absorbent paper.
3. Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a non-stick wok. Add garlic and sauté well.
4. Add barbeque sauce, chilli sauce, tomato ketchup, sugar and crushed peppercorns, mix well and simmer for a minute.
5. Add chilli flakes and mix. Add fried chicken wings and toss to mix.
6. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
