BATATA NU SHAAKIngredients4 large potatoes, peeled, washed and cut into 1 inch cubes2 tbsps oil + deep frying2 tbsps white sesame seeds½ tsp turmeric powder2 tbsps coriander powder1 tsp red chilli powderSalt to taste1 tsp sugar¼ cup freshly chopped coriander leaves1 tbsp lemon juiceCoriander sprig for garnishMethod1. Heat sufficient oil in a non-stick pan, deep fry potatoes till golden brown and crisp. Drain on an absorbent paper.2. Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add white sesame seeds, and let the colour change. Add the fried potatoes and mix well on high heat.3. Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chilli powder, and reduce the heat and add salt, sugar, and mix well.4. Switch the heat off and add chopped coriander, lemon juice, andmix well.
