Simple and tasty is the way to go for this recipe. The nutty gram flour combined with the earthy arbi when combined with spices tastes just amazing!

BESAN ARBI

Ingredients

300 grams colocasia (arbi), boiled and peeled
1 tbsp ghee
1 cumin seeds
2 tbsps gram flour (besan)
1 tsp red chilli powder
½ tsp chaat masala
Salt to taste
2 tbsps chopped fresh coriander leaves
Fresh coriander sprig for garnish

Method

1. Slice colocasia into thick roundels and set aside.
2. Heat ghee in a non-stick pan, add cumin seeds and let them change colour. Add the slices colocasia and sauté for 5-6 minutes. Add gram flour, red chilli powder, chaat masala and salt and toss well.
3. Add chopped coriander and mix well. Take the pan off the heat.
4. Transfer into a serving bowl, garnish with fresh coriander sprig and serve hot.
