Besan Ka Halwa | Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana

Besan Ka Halwa is an rich indian dessert which is easy to make, extremely warm and raw which gives you an extremely satisfying and heart warming feeling at the end. A dish you HAVE to try!

BESAN KA HALWA - (Serves - 4)

Ingredients

¾ cup gram flour (besan)
½ cup ghee
3 cups milk
¾ cup sugar
2 tablespoons almonds slivers
2 tablespoons chopped walnuts
8-10 cashewnuts, halved
1 tablespoon sliced pistachios
2 tablespoons raisins
Pistachio powder for sprinkling

Method

1. Heat ghee in a non-stick pan. Add gram flour and sauté, stirring continuously, till it turns golden brown.
2. Add 1½ cups milk and keep stirring on low heat till lump-free. Add sugar, mix and cook, stirring continuously, for 10 minutes.
3. Add remaining milk, almonds, walnuts, cashewnuts, pistachios and raisins, mix well and cook for 5 minutes.
4. Sprinkle pistachio powder and serve hot.
