Best Blondies Recipe Ever

The Best Blondies Recipe Ever produces the most chewy, buttery dessert bar. It is the vanilla, caramel-y cousin to a chocolate brownie, and everyones favorite dessert.

Ingredients

10 tablespoons salted butter, melted
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup brown sugar
4 eggs
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
cup pecans, optional
cup white chocolate chips, optional

Instructions

1 In a skillet over medium heat, add butter to the pan. Melt and brown butter for about 3-4 minutes, until it has turned a more golden color and smells nutty. Remove from heat and let cool completely.

2 Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and spray a 9x13 glass pan with nonstick cooking spray.

3 In a large mixing bowl, use a hand mixer to mix together browned, cooled butter and sugar.

4 Add in eggs and vanilla, and mix until combined.

5 Add in salt, baking powder, and flour, and mix until just combined.

6 Fold in white chocolate chips and nuts (optional additions).

7 Pour blondie batter into the prepared pan and bake for 40 minutes. Remove from oven when done. Serve warm or at room temperature.

Recipe Notes:

Pan Sizes:
9x9, 8x8, or 11x7 pans produce thicker brownies and require a 55-60 minute total baking time.
