BEST Nasi Lemak & BEGGAR Chicken Cooked in MUD! | Strictly Dumpling

You can't come to Malaysia without having Nasi Lemak, and my local friend took me to one of Kuala Lumpur's most iconic chicken and Nasi Lemak places, Village Park Restaurant.

The next stop was at a hidden mom and pop restaurant that makes a specialty that's rare to find in Malaysia, and that's beggar's chicken. To get it, you have to make your order a day in advance, and the cooking process is exceptionally unique like no other.

Crazy enough, this chicken that I'm eating was covered in mud and cooked in the ashy dirt to achieve its tender, juicy flavor. I also ordered the pork and sticky rice dishes that underwent the same process, and they were equally, mind-blowingly, delicious!
