Better Than P.F. Chang's Chicken Lettuce Wraps

Our Chicken Lettuce Wraps are even better than P.F. Chang's! Chicken and veggies are cooked in the most delicious, savory sauce and served in lettuce cups for an all around crowd pleasing appetizer!

Ingredients

2 tablespoons sesame oil
1 pound chicken, small cubes, or ground
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
1 medium yellow onion, diced
1 8 ounce can water chestnuts, whole, finely chopped
1 cup cabbage, shredded
1 teaspoon ginger, minced
1 teaspoon garlic, minced
1 head butter lettuce
cup green onions, sliced

Sauce:

cup hoisin sauce
1 teaspoon Asian chili garlic sauce
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon rice vinegar


Instructions


1 In a large skillet over medium heat, heat the sesame oil and add in the finely cubed chicken.

2 Season the chicken with salt and pepper and cook the chicken thoroughly until it is browned. About 6-8 minutes

3 Add in the diced onion and let it saut alongside the chicken for about 3-4 minutes.

4 Next, add in the water chestnuts, cabbage, garlic and ginger. Stir and let cook for 5 minutes.

5 Add into the cooked chicken and vegetables the sauce mixture and let cook all together for another 5 minutes.

6 Serve in lettuce cup and garnish with green onions.
