Unique and innovative recipe of black forest cake layered in a cup.

BLACK FOREST IN A CUP

Ingredients

200 grams chocolate cake slabs
Whipped cream as required
Sugar syrup for brushing
8 tablespoons cherry compote
Dark chocolate shavings for sprinkling
Vanilla beans for garnishing

Method

1. Using a medium size cookie cutter, cut out discs from cake slabs.
2. Pipe some whipped cream into individual serving glasses. Place a disc in each, brush with some sugar syrup, spread 1 tablespoon cherry compote and pipe some more whipped cream.
3. Top with another cake disc and spread 1 tablespoon cherry compote on top. Pipe some whipped cream rosettes and sprinkle some chocolate shavings on top.
4. Garnish with vanilla beans and serve immediately.
