BREAD ROLLSIngredients1 cup + 1 teaspoon refined flour (maida) + for dusting Oil for greasing1 teaspoon fresh yeast1 teaspoon castor sugar1 teaspoon milk powder½ tablespoon + ½ teaspoon butter¼ teaspoon saltMilk for brushingOnion seeds (kalonji) for sprinkling Method1. Preheat oven to 180°C. Grease a baking tray with some oil.2. Put yeast in a bowl. Add castor sugar and 2 tablespoons warm water, stir and set aside till the yeast activates. 3. Mix together flour, activated yeast, milk powder and sufficient water on the worktop and knead to a soft dough. Add butter and salt and knead further. Cover with a damp muslin cloth and set aside to prove for 10-15 minutes. 4. Dust dough with some flour, divide into equal portions and shape into small balls. Place them on the greased tray, cover and set aside to prove for 20-25 minutes.5. Brush some milk and sprinkle some onion seeds on top. Place the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes.6. Remove from heat, cool and serve.
