I have memories of my mom making them casually in her kitchen - and what flavours, what aroma from the special sprinkle of her secret masalas!! To this minute, the taste lingers.. the creamy potato curry trying to wiggle out of bread rolls, so meticulously rolled by my mom; the steam from the piping hot Bread Rolls still wafts through my mind. I have been experimenting with my mother’s recipe of Bread Rolls and have arrived at a foolproof recipe that doesn’t drink oil much; but tastes the same as that of the original.The difference is in the Potato filling which needs to be a bit dry instead of a creamy texture of Potato Curry. Although the original recipe consists of just mashed Potatoes with spices which then is stuffed into the bread, before frying - but the Bread Rolls become too oily though taste heavenly.
