This easy to make Brown Rice recipe is healthy and delicious both, plus serves as the perfect option for a quick lunch or dinner.BROWN RICEIngredients1½ cups Basmati rice, washed, soaked for 30 minutes and drained 1½ tbsps ghee4-5 cloves6-8 black peppercorns3-4 green cardamoms1½ inch cinnamon stick2 large onions, sliced 1 tsp granulated sugarSalt to tasteFresh coriander sprig for garnishMethod1. Heat ghee in a deep pan, add cloves, black peppercorns, green cardamoms, cinnamon stick and sauté till fragrant.2. Add onions and sauté till lightly golden brown. Add sugar, mix well and cook till the onions are caramelised.3. Add rice, salt and 3 cups water and mix well. Cover and cook till the rice is cooked completely. Take the pan off the heat.4.
