Brownie Bites | Cooking with California Walnuts | Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana

Dress up your classic brownies for a special occasion. If you love the fresh, moist, chocolate taste of brownies but hate to indulge in a whole one, you'll love making brownie bites.

BROWNIE BITES

Ingredients

2 tablespoons melted chocolate + for pouring
1 cup + 3 tablespoons refined flour (maida)
¼ cup cocoa powder
½ teaspoon baking powder
⅓ cup milk
10-15 walnuts, chopped + for garnishing
Colorful sprinklers for topping

Method

1. Preheat oven to 180ᵒ C. Grease a square baking tin with some butter and dust with some flour.
2. Cream together butter, condensed milk and vanilla essence till light. Add 2 tablespoons chocolate and beat again.
3. Sift in together flour, cocoa powder and baking powder and fold well. Add milk and mix. Add walnuts and mix well.
4. Spread the mixture in the lined tin, tap and garnish with walnuts. Put the tin in the pre-heated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes.
5. Remove from oven, cool and demould. Cut into cubes, place on a wire rack and pour chocolate on each. Set aside till the chocolate settles.
6. Top with colorful sprinklers and serve immediately.
