Yummy sweet pooris for an interesting breakfast or lunch.BUN POORIIngredients1/4 cup powdered sugar1/4 cup yogurt1 yellow banana whole, unpeeled1 cup refined flour 3 tbsps warm gheeSalt to taste¼ tsp baking powder1 tsp freshly roasted, grounded cumin powderOil to deep fryMethod1. Add powder sugar and yogurt in a bowl. Combine with a whisk until the mixture turns creamy. Add banana and mash it. Combine well. Add refined flour, warm ghee, salt, baking powder, cumin powder. Mix well. Knead into medium soft dough. Cover with a moist muslin cloth and set aside for 2 hours. 2. Divide dough into equal portions and take a portion on a worktop, dust with flour and roll into medium thick discs with a rolling pin.3. Heat sufficient oil in a non-stick kadai, add a disc and deep fry on medium heat till the puri turns golden brown in colour and it puffs up. Drain on an absorbent paper.4.
