Rice tossed with fresh cut vegetables and burnt garlic.BURNT GARLIC VEGETABLE FRIED RICE Ingredients 10-12 garlic cloves, chopped5-6 French beans, finely chopped¼ medium cabbage, shredded1 medium carrot, peeled and thickly grated2-3 spring onion bulbs, sliced1 stalk spring onion greens, chopped1½ cups Basmati rice, soaked for 15-20 minutes and cookedSalt to taste 1 tablespoon oil 1 teaspoon soy sauce1 teaspoon vinegarMethod1. Heat oil in a non-stick wok. Add garlic and sauté on high heat till golden brown. Add spring onion bulbs and sauté for 30 seconds. 2. Add French beans, carrot and cabbage and sauté for 1 minute. Add salt, soy sauce and mix well. 3. Add rice and adjust salt, toss and cook for 1 minute. Cover and cook on low heat for 2 minutes. Switch off heat, add vinegar and mix well.4.
