Butter Paneer Pizza | Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana

This pizza has a creamy curry as the pizza sauce and is topped with pieces of spiced paneer, a great vegetarian pizza.

Butter Paneer Pizza

Ingredients

Paneer, cut into cubes
1 cup pizza dough
Oil
½ cup chopped onions
1 cup tomato puree
½ teaspoon garam masala powder
1 teaspoon red chilli powder
1 teaspoon coriander powder
8-10 cashewnuts
1 teaspoon kasuri methi powder
1 tablespoon honey
3-4 onion cubes
3-4 green capsicum cubes
½ cup grated Mozzarella cheese

Method

1. Heat oil in a pan. Add onions and sauté till they go translucent.
2. Add tomato puree and mix. Add little water and mix well.
3. Add garam masala powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, salt and cashewnuts and mix well.
4. Cover and cook for 5-10 minutes.
5. Grind the masala into a fine puree.
6. Heat oil in a pan. Add paneer cubes and sauté till golden brown. Transfer into a plate
7. Pour the tomato masala in the same pan. Add some water and cook.
8. Add kasuri methi and salt to and mix well. Add honey and mix.
9. Add fried paneer cubes and mix well. Cover and cook for 4-5 minutes.
10. Transfer it into a bowl and let it cool.
11. Dust a worktop with some refined flour and roll out the dough into a pizza of medium thickness.
12. Spread some of the butter paneer gravy and place the paneer cubes on top.
13. Arrange onions and capsicum cubes on it.
14. Place butter on top. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese and chopped coriander over it
15. Baste the pizza with some melted butter and bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
16. Cut into slices and serve.
