Candied Cantaloupe Ice Cream

-Ice Cream Base
2 cups cream
3/4 cup sugar (honey works great too)
2 cups cantaloupe pulp/seeds
tiny pinch of salt

-Caramel Candy
1/2 cup water
1 cup sugar
