The mountains are gorgeous and green and the lifestyle is more relaxed with plenty of space. The specific village we visited was called Gamdzani and its mainly an Armenian village. Kristo had known this family and they run a restaurant and lodge called Family Corner (https://goo.gl/maps/gj73JxyuSK3zfE6b7). Its truly a one of a kind mountain lodge where you can stay and eat family cooked Armenian food in Georgia. But instead of eating at the restaurant, they took the bbq and all the ingredients to the lake where they set up a huge lakeside Armenian bbq.
