Cauliflower Popcorn | Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana

A scrumptious appetizer made using cauliflower.

CAULIFLOWER POPCORN

Ingredients

1 small cauliflower, cut into small florets
1 tsp red chilli powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic granules
Salt to taste
1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
Refined flour slurry as required
Panko breadcrumbs as required
Oil for deep frying
Ketchup mayo for drizzling
Parlsey leaves for garnish

Method

1. Take cauliflower into a large bowl, add red chilli powder, onion powder, garlic granules, salt, and ginger-garlic paste. Mix well and set aside.
2. Take panko breadcrumbs in a bowl and refined flour slurry in another bowl. Dip each piece of cauliflower into the slurry and roll it into panko. Set aside.
3. Heat sufficient oil in kadai, drop in the cauliflower florets and deep fry till golden and crisp. Drain on an absorbent paper. Transfer them into a bowl.
4. Drizzle ketchup mayo on top and garnish with parsley leaves. Serve hot.
