CHANA DAL HALWAIngredients1 cup split Bengal gram (chana dal), soaked and boiled¼ cup pure gheeA few saffron strands + for garnishing ½ cup grated khoya½ teaspoon green cardamom powder½ cup sugar2 tablespoons sliced pistachios 8-10 cashewnuts, halved2 tablespoons almond slivers Method1. Heat a non-stick pan. Add Bengal gram along with its water and stir. 2. Add ghee and mix well. Add saffron, mix and cook for 5-6 minutes or till the mixture reduces to half. 3. Add khoya, mix and cook till it melts. Add cardamom powder and sugar, mix and cook till sugar dissolves. 4. Add pistachios, cashewnuts and almonds, mix and cook for 1-2 minutes..5.
