Cheesy Hara Bhara Kabab | Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana

The all green kabab stuffed with mozzarella cheese cubes and shallow fried.

CHEESY HARA BHARA KABAB

Ingredients

1 cup green peas, boiled and crushed
1 medium bunch fresh spinach, blanched and finely chopped
3 tablespoons chopped fresh coriander leaves
1-2 green chillies, finely chopped
100 grams mozzarella cheese, cut into small cubes
3 medium potatoes, boiled, peeled and grated
1 inch ginger, finely chopped
Salt to taste
1 teaspoon chaat masala
3-4 tablespoons cornstarch
Oil for shallow-frying
Onion rings for garnishing
Lemon wedges for garnishing
Fresh mint sprigs for garnishing
Tomato ketchup for serving

Method

1. Mix together potatoes, green peas, spinach, coriander leaves, green chillies, ginger, salt, chaat masala and cornstarch in a bowl.
2. Divide the mixture into equal portions. Flatten each portion between your palms, place one mozzarella cheese cube in the center, seal and shape into kabab.
3. Heat some oil in a non-stick pan. Place the kababs and shallow-fry from both sides till golden brown. Drain on absorbent paper.
4. Garnish with onion rings, lemon wedges and mint sprig and serve hot with tomato ketchup.
