Steamed chicken momos topped with cheesy sauce, grated cheese and herbs, baked till perfection. CHEESY MOMOSIngredients 1 cup cheese sauce ½ cup grated processed cheese 200 grams refined flour (maida) dough150 grams chicken mince 1 small onion, finely chopped½ medium carrot, finely chopped1 tablespoon finely chopped celery1 tablespoon finely chopped garlicCrushed black peppercorns to taste 1 teaspoon fresh thymeSalt to tasteRefined flour (maida) for dusting A pinch dried oreganoA pinch red chilli flakes Method 1. Mix together chicken mince, onion, carrot, celery, garlic, crushed peppercorns, thyme and salt in a bowl. 2. Divide the dough into equal portions, dust with some flour and roll out into medium discs. 3. Place a portion of chicken mixture in the centre of each disc and shape into momos. Place them on a steamer plate. 4. Heat sufficient water in a steamer. Place the plate in it, cover and steam for 10-15 minutes. 5. Preheat oven to 180º C.6. Transfer the steamed momos in a baking dish. Pour cheese sauce, top with processed cheese, oregano and chilli flakes. 7. Put the dish in the preheated oven and bake till the cheese melts.8.
