Cherry Chocolate Mousse | Cooksmart | Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana

Cherries and chocolate not only look good together but also taste heavenly. A delicious dessert which is quick and simple to make as well as always impressive for entertaining guests and kids.

CHERRY CHOCOLATE MOUSSE

Ingredients

25-30 canned cherries, seeded
1½ cups chopped dark chocolate
¾ cup fresh cream
½ cup whipped cream

Method

1. Heat cream in a non-stick pan and pour it into the bowl with dark chocolate. Stir till all the chocolate melts and blends well with the cream.
2. Roughly chop cherries and add them to the chocolate mixture and mix.
3. Add whipped cream and mix lightly.
4. Snip off a little piece from the pointed end of a piping bag. Put the mousse in it and pipe into stemmed glasses.
5. Tap the glasses lightly on the table to level the surface.
6. Chill in the refrigerator and serve.
