Chicken mince cooked in onion tomato masala with powdered indian spices, this recipe is a must try !CHICKEN BHARTAIngredients250 grams chicken mince2 tablespoons oil4 black cardamoms 1 bay leaf 1 teaspoon black peppercorns1 teaspoon cumin seeds (jeera)¼ teaspoon asafoetida (hing)1 teaspoon chopped ginger1 teaspoon chopped garlic1 large onion, finely chopped 1-2 green chillies, finely chopped 1 large tomato, finely chopped ½ teaspoon red chilli powder¼ teaspoon turmeric powder 1 teaspoon coriander powder½ teaspoon garam masala powder½ tablespoon lemon juiceSalt to taste1 tablespoon chopped fresh coriander leaves + for garnishing Method1. Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add cardamoms, bay leaf, peppercorns and cumin seeds and sauté for a minute. 2. Add asafoetida, ginger and garlic, mix and sauté till fragrant. Add onion, mix and sauté till lightly browned. 3. Add green chillies and tomato, mix and cook till tomatoes turn soft and pulpy. 4. Add chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder and garam masala powder, mix and cook till the oil separates. 5. Add lemon juice and mix well. Add chicken mince, mix well and cook for 1-2 minutes. 6. Add salt and coriander leaves, mix well, cover and cook till fully done. 7. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
