Chicken Chole | Cooksmart | Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana

Chicken mince cooked with chole. This recipe and combination is unique and a must try !

CHICKEN CHOLE

Ingredients

1 cup chicken mince
1 cup chickpeas (chole), boiled
2 tbsps oil
2 medium onions, finely chopped
½ cup fresh coriander leaves
1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
½ tsp turmeric powder
1½ tsps roasted cumin powder
2 tsps red chilli powder
¾ cup tomato puree
3 cups chole stock
Rock salt to taste
Salt to taste
2 tsps garam masala powder

Method

1. Heat oil in a pressure cooker. Add onions and saute till they turn soft.
2. Roughly chop coriander leaves.
3. Add ginger-garlic paste to the cooker, mix and saute for a minute. Add chicken mince, mix well and saute for 2-3 minutes.
4. Add turmeric powder, cumin powder and red chilli powder, mix well and saute well.
5. Add tomato puree and mix well. Add chickpeas, 1½ cups chole stock and stir to mix.
6. Add chopped coriander, rock salt, salt, remaining stock and garam masala powder and mix well. Cover and pressure cook till one whistle. Reduce heat and cook for 10-15 minutes.
7. Serve hot.
