Chicken in a new avatar, try this coin shaped bite-sized breads loaded with chicken and deep fried till crisp and perfect.CHICKEN GOLD COINIngredients200 grams chicken mince4 white bread slices2 tbsps corn starch½ tbsp chopped garlic½ tbsp chopped gingerSalt to tasteA pinch of white pepper powder2 green chillies, chopped1 tsp dark soy sauce1 egg whites1 tbsp chopped onion1 egg, whiskedSesame seeds for sprinklingMethod1. In a blender jar, add chicken mince and grind to fine paste. Transfer to a bowl.2. In the same bowl, add corn starch, garlic, ginger, salt, white pepper powder, green chillies, dark soy sauce and egg whites. Mix well, add onion and mix to combine well.3. Cut the bread slices into roundels using a cookie cutter. Break an egg in another bowl, mix well and brush on one side of the bread roundels.4. Apply a portion of the prepared chicken mixture on to each bread roundels, set aside.5. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai, brush egg mixture on the chicken side of the prepared coins and sprinkle a little sesame seeds on top.6. Drop in the chicken side of the coins in the hot oil and deep fry on both sides till golden and crisp. Drain on an absorbent paper.7.
