A unique recipe of boneless chicken pieces cooked with chicken mince in onion tomato masala.CHICKEN RARAIngredients650 grams boneless chicken, cut into 2 inch pieces250 grams chicken mince10-12 cloves1 teaspoon cumin seeds (jeera)5-6 green cardamoms2 blade mace½ cup yogurt¼ teaspoon nutmeg (jaiphal) powderSalt to taste3-4 tablespoons oil3 medium onions, finely chopped1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste2 medium tomatoes, chopped1 teaspoon red chilli powder¼ teaspoon turmeric powder1 teaspoon coriander powder2 green chillies, slit1 tablespoon chopped fresh coriander leaves + for garnishing Method 1. Dry roast cloves, cumin seeds, cardamoms and mace till fragrant. Remove from heat, cool and grind to a fine powder. 2. Mix together yogurt, 1 tablespoon prepared powder, nutmeg powder and salt in a bowl. Add chicken pieces, mix and refrigerate to marinate for 1-2 hours. 3. Heat oil in a pressure cooker. Add onions and sauté till lightly browned. Add ginger-garlic paste, mix and sauté for 30 seconds. Add marinated mutton, mix and cook for 2-3 minutes. 4. Add tomatoes, mix and cook till they turn soft and pulpy. Add chilli powder, turmeric powder and coriander powder, mix and cook till the oil separates. 5. Add chicken mince and mix. Add green chillies, mix and cook for a minute. Add 3 cups water, stir, cover and cook till the pressure is released for 5-7 times. Add coriander leaves and mix well. 6.
